RCIA

Calling those who wish to know more about the Catholic Faith.

There are NO OBLIGATIONS AND NO FEES.

The R.C.I.A., or the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is the process mandated by the United States bishops by which:

1)  Adult Non-Catholics may inquire about and prepare themselves to join the Catholic Church.

2)  Adult Catholics who have not received all the Sacraments of Initiation may complete that process.

3)  Adult Catholics may learn more about their Catholic faith.

Each meeting format consists of an opening prayer, a presentation on the selected topic given by a priest, deacon, or by a lay member of the parish, a brief reflection or small group sharing on the presentation and a closing prayer.

The meetings are open to anyone in the parish, beginning with the third session.

No one is under any pressure while attending RCIA. We only want you to be here because you want to be here! If you have any questions or are considering participating,  please contact the parish office  at 309-444-3524.

It's not too late to join us!
